1:6542 is a video art work/audiovisual installation in which the artist engages with memories from their childhood, using AI to reconstruct episodes lost in memory and translate their fragmentation and the chaos that arises from reflecting on the past into video form. In moments of blackout, the screen transforms into a mirror where the viewer must confront themselves, in contrast to what they have experienced. The artist avoids forcing the act of remembering, romanticizing, or elaborating it as something idyllic and magical. The project’s goal is to translate into video what happens in the artist's mind when thinking about their childhood. The black sections of the video inevitably allow the viewer to see themselves reflected on the screen, inviting a confrontation that must be faced in silence. The title refers to a scaled representation of the artist's life, starting from the age of 3 (when the first memories begin to form) until December 15, 2023 (the date of the work's completion), covering 6542 days.
