Federico Tansella (San Benedetto del Tronto, Italia, 2003), also known as Meynsense, is an audiovisual artist currently living and working in Venice, attending the Multimedia Arts course at the Academy of Fine Art of Venice.

His artistic research is founded on the understanding of sociological phenomena in the contemporary era in relation to internet trends and subcultures, diving deep into emerging pathologies, new forms of violence and possible futures through a multidisciplinary practice with a focus on sound.

He matures over the years as a musician, exploring various subgenres of electronic music, seeking a synthesis that combines intimate vocals and deconstructed instrumentals, with brutal contrasts between granular environments and sharp drums.
He’s performed his compositions live numerous times around Italy at venues such as Traffic Festival 2023, in Loretello (AN), Coco Contemporanea in Cairate (VA), Colonne28 in Parma and Terzo Spazio Zolforosso, Venice.

He has enriched his portfolio through personal projects and collaborations with fashion brands, working as a sound designer in the production of multimedia content for MM6 Maison Margiela, Marine Serre, Missoni, Berluti, Federico Cina and other realities such as Rolland Garros, Shiseido and Hypebeast Japan.
He’s also curated the sound for events such as the Federico Cina FW23 Runway for Milan Fashion Week and Federico Cina’s “La Planimetria dei Vestiti” installation at Marsell Paradise, Milan. At the Venice Biennale Teatro of 2024 he participated as co-composer, together with Roberto Lagerman, of BOLIDE/DEUS EX MACHINA, a performance by Elia Pangaro.

In January 2024 he installed various works in Santa Marta’s little church in Venice, in a solo pop-up exhibition titled IO COPRO TUTTO, a reflection on introspection in the digital era, oversharing as an internet trend, corecore, and the exploration of memory as a dialogue beetween human and artificial intelligence.

In October 2024 he partecipates in the group exhibition " I wanted to find a roommate, I didn't even have a home" at Sale Docks, Venice with Mattone su Mattone, a performance in collaboration with Guido Corbisiero.

In November 2024 he presents To Build The End, a live performance hosted by Megadue, Bologna and curated by Gleba2k.

His artistic research is founded on the understanding of sociological phenomena in the contemporary era in relation to internet trends and subcultures, diving deep into emerging pathologies, new forms of violence and possible futures through a multidisciplinary practice with a focus on sound. Lately, his research has been focusing on the theme of isolation, exploring the relationship between politics, socio-economic conditions, the confinement of bodies, the exhaustion of minds, and the sociological consequences of precarity (in work, economy, and relationships) that have permeated the psychosphere of the hyperconnected generation. In this context, he's interested in the discussion about new digital landscapes: how platforms construct frameworks of thought, facilitate or hinder the flow of narratives and truths, and how they influence social dynamics. He operates in a interdisciplinary manner through installations, video, sound art and live performances.
